Develop your knowledge of learning theory and discuss how to develop your own bespoke sessions. We are pleased to share our new programme of ‘Learn and deliver’ events, designed to support individuals providing learning and development in organisations.  

The ‘Learn and deliver’ programme is designed to give learning and development colleagues the tools, knowledge and confidence to deliver learning sessions based on Research in Practice resources. 

Whois it for?

The programme is designed for Research in Practice Partners in learning and development teams who are responsible for supporting learning and delivering sessions in their organisations.

How does it work?

There are two types of events:

Learning theory

These sessions aim to develop your understanding of different approaches to learning, to build capacity within your organisation. 

The programme of two-hour sessions will explore: 

  • What motivates people to learn?
  • How can you design impactful learning? 
  • How can organisations support learning transfer? 

The programme will conclude with a two-hour reflective and action planning session. 

Deliver it yourself

Designed to provide guidance to learning and development staff about how to independently develop their own sessions.

These two-hour events will use Research in Practice materials, resources and activities to deliver sessions on: 

  • Equity and intersectionality.
  • Good decision-making.
  • Practitioner resilience and wellbeing.
  • Trauma-informed approaches.
