Supporting people living with dementia at home and in the community
Supporting people living with dementia at home and in the community
Delivered online using Teams
12:00 - 13:00 Thursday, 11 December 2025
Join an open access webinar that will focus on the evidence around how we can support people living with dementia at home and in the community. The session will share key messages from recent ConnectED briefings on extra care housing and dementia and supporting people with dementia living at home.
This webinar will be relevant for anyone working with people with dementia in the community, including occupational therapists, social workers, commissioners and providers of services.
This is the third in our series of webinars from the ConnectED project.
ConnectED is funded by NIHR and aims to help decision-makers in Adult Social Care make better decisions by growing their ability to use research.
The project is centred around Research Practice Partnerships (RPPs) with adult social care services, universities and people with lived experience. The RPPs take a ‘learning by doing’ approach building the capacity of staff to find and appraise research – they have produced a series of evidence briefings in response to key questions and priorities from the practice partners. This webinar series will highlight findings from evidence briefings as well as key learning from working in an RPP approach.
